Kanagavelpandi is a painter and practitioner of fine-art. He prefers the canvas to speeches and roaring audiences. His work embodies everyday life and expressions of people. His preferred medium of expression is watercolor on hand-made sheets of paper; he prefers to use watercolors, oils and acrylic paint to create works of art for individuals, businesses and galleries. Some of his work is currently on display at well-known corporate houses and hotels in India.
His technique, elements of composition and the nature of work embody realism and depiction of everyday life; some of his prolific work includes realistic impressions of farmers, animals, dancers and other personalities. On weekends, he spends time teaching art and color principles to children and teenagers wishing to explore and express their thoughts on paper and canvas.
